Miguel is an eclectic musician with skills that span from the Classical to the Contemporary world with over 4 decades of musical expertise. He started his training at 11 years old in a musical family in Monterrey, Mexico. At 13 years old, he entered the school of music in the state university of Nuevo Leon. He gave his first professional concert at 16 years of age. Since then, he has played all over the world and has been appreciated by all age groups and cultures.
He was chosen to perform in gala receptions for presidents, dignitaries, Nobel Prize recipients, and has also represented the music and culture of Mexico abroad. In 1990, Miguel form a group called, " La Guitarra por el Mundo", traveling through out Mexico and Europe. In 1996, Miguel moved permanently to Baja California, expanding his career to the United States. Between 2003 and 2009, he performed more than 80 concerts in Germany. From 2008 to the present, he has performed periodically with Alex DePue, a gifted violinist.
In 2016, he became an ambassador and performed in Rio de Janeiro at the Arts Games, an upcoming feature of the Olympics. He continues to perform solo in many diverse venues and looks forward to a long career in the future
